Key Duties:
- Provide real-time interpreting services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing within classroom and school environments
- Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, and peers using ASL
- Assist in the development and modification of educational materials to be accessible for all learners
- Work closely with educational teams to support individual student learning plans
- Maintain ethical standards of practice, ensuring confidentiality and respect for all students
- Participate in meetings, workshops, or assessment sessions as needed to support students' educational journeys
- Will serve as an ASL Translator for an online student - who is also learning ASL so someone experienced and comfortable assisting virtually.
- Shift details: School Day Schedule
- Hours per week: 32 hours per week
- Contract length: School Year
- Experience Required: Prior job-related experience.
- Current EIPA Score of 3.5
- AZ Driver’s License
- Current AZ Fingerprint Card
- Per Diem / Temporary (Hourly) Roles
