Mammographer

A Mammographer is a specialized radiologic technologist responsible for performing mammography exams to detect breast abnormalities and assist in early diagnosis. Typically working within the Radiology Department, this role involves patient interaction, technical imaging skills, and collaboration with radiologists. The Mammographer reports directly to the Radiology Manager and plays a crucial role in providing quality breast imaging services.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams following established protocols and safety standards
• Operate mammography equipment with precision to obtain high-quality images
• Ensure patient comfort and education during the procedure
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Work collaboratively within the Radiology Department team
• Report findings and escalate concerns to the Radiology Manager as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in mammography
• Certification or proficiency in Mammography
