Employment Type: W2 Contract – 6 Months (with the Possibility of Extension!)
Pay Rate: $52.00 – $55.00/hour (determined by experience)
Shift: 1st Shift

Role Overview:
BEPC is seeking an Aerospace Project Engineer to support our client’s development, testing, and qualification of electro-mechanical actuation systems used in defense and more-electric aircraft applications.
This position combines hands-on engineering execution with project coordination responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have approximately 3+ years of engineering experience and a background in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or electronics development. This role requires strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to coordinate schedules, deliverables, testing, and engineering activities across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support project execution, schedules, milestones, and technical deliverables.
- Coordinate product development activities across engineering teams.
- Support the development, testing, and qualification of electro-mechanical actuation systems.
- Perform technical problem-solving, root cause analysis, and corrective action activities.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports.
- Analyze test results and support validation and verification activities.
- Support design validation through product build and test activities.
- Interface with customers, suppliers, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with project risk management, metrics reporting, and project tracking.
- Support project schedules and integrated engineering activities.
- Help identify and resolve technical issues that could affect project milestones or deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline preferred.
- 3+ years of engineering experience preferred.
- Experience with product development, testing, or qualification activities.
- Mechanical design and/or electronics or circuit card design experience preferred.
- Experience performing root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), or related project coordination activities.
- Experience tracking project schedules, risks, milestones, and technical deliverables.
- Strong technical documentation skills, including test plans, procedures, and reports.
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
- Aerospace, defense, electro-mechanical systems, manufacturing, or electronics development experience is a plus.
- Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) is a plus.
