Job Summary
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CCL TECH) is based in Marysville. This role involves performing, assisting, and completing Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic examinations, including active radiographic interventional procedures within the cardiovascular laboratory using sophisticated equipment. The technologist will operate imaging devices to produce digital images, position and instruct patients, and assist physicians during specialized cardiovascular procedures.
Job Details
- Position: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist in Marysville.
- Requirements: Associates Degree or equivalent related experience; preferred Bachelors Degree in radiologic technology or equivalent; preferred experience in Cath Lab or Special Procedures; required American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or Radiologic Tech (RT) licensure; required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, with on-call duties (6-7 days a month including a weekend).
- Additional Information: Operates diagnostic imaging equipment such as contrast-enhanced radiographs of the heart and cardiovascular system during cardiac catheterization; assists physicians with specialized procedures, including angiograms and interventions to remove blockages; enters technical parameters into computer systems; monitors environmental safety factors; maintains detailed documentation; provides patient education and discharge instructions; performs other related duties as assigned.
