Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in a healthcare organization located in Marysville. This role involves performing and assisting with Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic examinations, including active radiographic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular laboratory. The technologist will operate sophisticated equipment to produce digital images, position patients, and support physicians during complex cardiology procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, from 09/28/2026 to 01/17/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience; 1-2 years Cath Lab experience preferred. Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification preferred. Radiologic Tech (RT) certification in the state of practice preferred. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required. Facility-specific certification of BLS from an approved vendor required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in radiologic technology or equivalent with some certifications requiring bachelor's level education. Experience in Cath Lab or Special Procedures is preferred.
- Additional Information: The position requires operation of diagnostic imaging equipment to produce contrast-enhanced radiographs of the heart and cardiovascular system during cardiac catheterization procedures. The technologist will assist with specialized procedures, including placement and manipulation of imaging equipment, administration of contrast media, and monitoring patient responses. Accurate documentation and adherence to safety protocols are essential. The role involves on-call responsibilities, including 6-7 days per month, with some shifts involving weekend coverage.
