Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 1+ year of hospital X-ray experience and ARRT-R certification for a hospital setting.
Details
- Hospital-based X-Ray Tech role
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- One alternating weekday off during the week
- Participates in call rotation one night per week
- Uses PACS equipment
- Cerner charting experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of prior hospital X-Ray Tech experience required
- ARRT-R and BLS certifications required
- State license required if applicable, prior to start
- Experience with PACS equipment required
- Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
- References required for consideration
Additional Information
- Performs a wide range of radiographic studies including abdomen, chest, extremities, spine, pelvis, and head imaging
- Performs fluoroscopy studies such as barium swallow, contrast enema, and upper GI series (preferred)
- Performs mobile/surgical procedures including C-arm and portable abdomen/chest imaging (preferred)
- Works across adult acute care, outpatient, ED, ICU, and bedside/portable settings
- Pediatric acute care, pediatric outpatient, PICU, and OR experience preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates not accepted; must reside 75+ miles from the facility
- Prior facility employees must have a 2-year break in service before returning
- Candidates with license or background check hits may be considered on a case-by-case basis
