About this job
Under guidance of the Assistant Athletics Director-Equipment Room Operations, provide support services in the day-to-day activities of a 25- sport operation out of Hickey Gym and the Pavilion Arena. Serve the student-athletes, head and assistant coaches, and staff of assigned sports.Perform equipment, apparel, laundry, and locker room operations for the equipment rooms. Provide proper care, maintenance and laundry service for assigned Intercollegiate Athletic teams.

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
- Bachelor's Degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
- Equipment operations experience working in Division I Athletics and/or professional sports.
- Experience performing general repairs and maintenance on a wide variety of athletic apparel and equipment.
- Computer skills to utilize various programs and software for word processing, spreadsheets, and equipment inventory on a Macintosh and/or a PC.
- Organizational and time management skills; attention to detail.Interpersonal customer service, oral and written communication skills to work effectively and establish cooperative working relationships with persons from diverse backgrounds and at various organizational levels within and outside the University.
- Ability to maintain composure a high-energy environment; problem solving skills; effective listener.
Preferred Qualifications
- Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA) certified or cert
- Prior experience in ordering through an all-school apparel agreement.
- Knowledge (or experience) and skills to properly fit with measuring techniques student-athletes for protective equipment.
- Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards. Knowledge of how to operate industrial laundry equipment.

Work Environment
