Laser Operator

INTEGRITY TRADE SERVICES IS HIRING FOR A LASER OPERATOR IN BYRON CENTER, MI

Job title: Laser Operator
Shift: 1st 6:30am-3:00pm
Pay: $24-$28/hr based on experience 

Essential Functions:

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow standardized work procedures.
· Ability to produce quality parts that meet company/customer specifications
· Record daily production and scrap in ERP system.
· Ability to read and comprehend detailed work instructions, blueprints, and/or drawings.
· Ability to follow daily schedules and meet production goals.
· Follow industry and company policies, procedures and safety standards at all times.
· Effectively communicates any issues affecting production to the team lead or supervisor
· Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs. Activities include lifting, stooping, twisting and bending on a regular basis.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area.
· Perform other duties as assigned
· Perform adjustments on laser as needed.
· Perform required preventative maintenance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 1-3 years of LASER operating experience preferred
• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing)
• Familiarity with tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Good eyesight, including depth perception and color differentiation
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Basic computer skills, including ERP systems like Plex
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs as needed
• Positive attitude, energy, reliable attendance, and teamwork mindset
