Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A closed-door Long Term Care (LTC) pharmacy located in Topeka, KS, is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist for ongoing Thursday and Friday shifts. This contract position offers a focused work environment supporting quality pharmaceutical care for LTC facilities.
Schedule:
- Thursdays and Fridays
- 9 AM to 6 PM
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality assurance (QA) activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards
- Perform cycle checking to maintain inventory accuracy and safety
- Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently for LTC patients
Qualifications:
- Active Pharmacist license in Kansas with a clean, negative history
- Minimum of 1 year pharmacist experience; LTC experience preferred but recent graduates and retail pharmacists are encouraged to apply
- Ability to start promptly and work ongoing shifts as scheduled
