The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through May 28, 2027. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday, working regular school-day hours from 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. As a school nurse, you'll provide direct support for children and staff, delivering specialized care for students who may have diabetes, g-tubes, or seizure disorders.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
- Demonstrated experience as a school nurse (mandatory)
- Familiarity with managing diabetes, g-tube care, and seizure response in a pediatric/school setting
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaborative skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary school team

Role Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary health support resource for assigned elementary students and staff
- Address daily health concerns, medication management, basic first aid, and emergency response

- Maintain accurate medical documentation and follow regulatory compliance
