System Repair and Test Technician

Position: System Repair and Test Technician

Pay: $27.00/hour
Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Swing Shift: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a System Repair and Test Technician with hands-on experience troubleshooting, testing, and repairing computers, servers, circuit boards, or other electronic equipment.

This is a technical repair position and requires experience diagnosing hardware failures and completing repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot computer and server hardware
• Diagnose hardware and system failures
• Repair or replace defective components
• Perform soldering and de-soldering as needed
• Complete hardware upgrades and repairs
• Retest equipment to verify proper operation
• Document repairs, defects, parts used, and test results
• Follow technical instructions and safety procedures

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related technical experience preferred
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting, testing, and electronics repair
• Soldering and de-soldering experience
• Experience with circuit boards or component-level repair
• Ability to read technical instructions, diagrams, or schematics
• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux is a plus
• Technical education preferred; equivalent hands-on experience may be considered

Preferred Experience

Candidates with backgrounds in electronics repair, computer/server repair, testing, RMA, PCB repair, failure analysis, or data center hardware are encouraged to apply.

Most Important: Candidates should have hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting, testing, electronics repair, and soldering.
