Make a difference working with students across the K-12 spectrum in an engaging, in-person contract role providing speech-language pathology services for a district near Monroe, OR. This opportunity is perfect for those passionate about helping children and adolescents achieve their communication goals in a collaborative educational setting.

Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology—whether you hold your CCC, are completing your CFY, or have experience in healthcare, pediatrics, schools, or teletherapy. You’ll support a diverse K-12 caseload for approximately 20 hours per week over a 6-week assignment. Enjoy working on a supportive team, with supervision available from district staff, and benefit from an efficient onboarding process including fingerprint background clearance.

What you’ll need:

  • Active Oregon SLP license
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based settings (K-12 preferred)
  • SLP-CCC or eligibility for CFY, open to recent graduates as well as seasoned professionals
  • Familiarity with individualized education program (IEP) processes
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches for diverse student needs
  • Commitment to in-person services

Key responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement IEPs in accordance with district and state requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to promote positive student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes
  • Participate in necessary meetings, panels, or trainings as needed
