CDL-HOT SHOT DRIVERS

Job Requirements:

•Class A CDL

•Pass a drug test

•Clean MVR

Job Description:

•Class A CDL with tanker endorsement (but not tanker not required)

•Ability to flollow all applicable traffic laws and to conform to all requirements for drivers propounded by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and local and state agencies.

•Drive a one-ton truck and pull a 40' RGN(50% paved roads and 50% gravel roads)

•Drive long distances

•Drive/work during daylight and or nighttime hours, weekends and holidays

•Drive 5 to 10 hours a day, up to 12 hours/day total on duty

•Chain up trucks and trailers

•Chain or strap to secure load on trailer-up to 10 loads/10 times per day

•Load and unload cargo

•Load and unload production and fresh water

•Lift and pull hoses weighing 40-60lbs

•Lift 50-100lbs 2-6 times per day; loading various size tools by hand onto truck and/or trailer

•Haul an average unhook hoses between 4 to 24 times a day

•Climb stairs and gauge tanks between 4-24 times a day

•Report to dispatcher

•Work outside during inclement weather

•Abliity to sit at location on standby

•Perform general vehicle maintenance along with topping off fluids, greasing and fueling the truck

•Ablitity to read and write; may spend up to 30 to 60 minutes per day completing paperwork, logbook, invoices, water tickets, DVIR, pre and post trip inspections and monitoring that the truck and associated equipment is in good working order
