This assignment is a 6-week coverage beginning September 23, 2026 (potentially ending October 30, 2026, with a possible one-week extension). You’ll support a nonverbal, non-ambulatory eight-year-old with cerebral palsy and G-tube, who experiences infrequent focal seizures when startled.

Qualifications:
- Active RN or LPN/LVN license in New Jersey
- Experience with pediatric care; school nursing experience preferred
- Familiarity with G-tubes and seizure protocols
- Comfortable providing 1:1 care for nonverbal, non-ambulatory students
- Ability and willingness to ride the school bus with the student during scheduled hours
- Compassion, adaptability, and professional communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 care for the student during school and bus transport hours
- Monitor for and respond to potential focal seizures
- Support G-tube feedings and overall health needs
- Communicate with teachers, caregivers, and clinical team
- Review care routines with the current nurse before transitioning responsibilities
