Welder

Our client is a manufacturer of fencing and gate products seeking an experienced Welder to join their production team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on wire welding experience along with familiarity working with galvanized and black-coated materials. This is a great opportunity for a skilled welder looking to grow with a stable, established shop.

- Perform wire welding on fencing and gate components to meet production specifications.

- Work with galvanized and black-coated materials, ensuring clean and consistent welds.

- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, or specifications to complete assigned tasks accurately.

- Inspect finished welds for quality, strength, and appearance before moving product downstream.

- Set up and maintain welding equipment, making adjustments as needed for different materials.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with shop safety standards.

- Collaborate with team members and production leads to keep projects on schedule.

- Report any equipment issues or material defects to a supervisor in a timely manner

Job Requirements

- 2+ years of hands-on welding experience, preferably in a production or fabrication environment.

- Demonstrated proficiency in wire welding techniques.

- Experience working with galvanized and/or black-coated metal materials.

- Ability to read basic specifications or work orders.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to weld quality.

- Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday.

- Fence or gate manufacturing experience is preferred.
