Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Inventory Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Waltham, MA. This role is ideal for someone with stockroom, warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving, or materials handling experience who enjoys hands-on work in a structured, team-oriented environment.
As an Inventory Technician, you will support daily operations by picking, staging, receiving, storing, moving, and packaging parts and materials accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and stage parts and materials accurately according to work orders, pick lists, established procedures, and FIFO inventory practices.
- Receive finished goods into inventory and transport, store, and handle materials safely to prevent damage.
- Move materials between the warehouse and designated locations to support production, shipping, and daily operations.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and documentation, then package materials securely for shipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages, discrepancies, quality concerns, or other issues that may impact schedules.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following company procedures and safety guidelines.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $18 to $20 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Location: Waltham, MA.
