Step into a meaningful part-time contract role supporting student health in a school setting. A skilled Registered Nurse is needed immediately for a school-based position just outside Chester, PA. In this impactful role, you’ll work 8 hours each week, providing care and guidance that students need to thrive. The assignment spans from September 2026 to June 2027, with workdays running from 7:35 am to 3:15 pm.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and current RN license in Pennsylvania
• School Nurse (CSN) certification strongly preferred—candidates with a CSN will distinguish themselves
• Previous experience in pediatric or school-based nursing
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Compassion and professionalism when supporting students, faculty, and families
• Ability to manage confidential information and medical records

Primary Responsibilities:

• Address immediate and daily student health needs, including medication administration, chronic disease management, and emergency response
• Collaborate with staff and family members to develop or update health plans
• Conduct health screenings and provide health education as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of services, interventions, and medical records in compliance with school policies and legal guidance
• Serve as a reliable healthcare resource and advocate within the school community
