Job Description
We are looking for a Space Planner - Level 2 to support workplace planning activities for a client team in Seattle, WA. This is a Long-term Contract opportunity requiring a hybrid schedule, with onsite presence expected four days each week from Monday through Thursday. In this role, you will help manage day-to-day occupancy needs, translate business space requests into practical layout solutions, and partner with planning leadership to keep space initiatives organized and moving forward.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate incoming occupancy and workplace requests, confirm scope, and organize next steps for each assignment.
• Partner with business stakeholders and space representatives to gather detailed planning needs and convert them into workable space solutions.
• Prepare test fits and layout concepts that support efficient use of office space while aligning with operational requirements.
• Conduct routine and special audits of seating, occupancy, and space data to maintain accurate planning records.
• Support senior planning staff with research, analysis, and materials used for broader workplace strategy initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal teams to execute approved space plans, including move, add, and change activities.
• Use planning systems and design tools to track space information, update drawings, and maintain reporting accuracy.
• Analyze occupancy trends and planning data to identify issues, recommend adjustments, and improve space utilization.
• 2-4 years of experience in space planning, occupancy planning, or a closely related workplace planning role.• Hands-on experience supporting move, add, and change activities within an office environment.
• Proficiency with space planning and design platforms such as AutoCAD, Revit, Archibus, or Serraview.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to review planning data, audits, and utilization information using Microsoft Excel.
• Experience creating test fits, interpreting layout requirements, and contributing to design-based planning solutions.
• Ability to coordinate multiple requests, manage priorities, and communicate effectively with stakeholders and project partners.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in architecture, interior design, facilities planning, or a related field.
