The school is seeking a nurse who can confidently provide care and advocate for student well-being. Candidates with a Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential are especially encouraged to apply, as this qualification is highly valued.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Active RN license required
- School nursing experience preferred
- CSN (Certified School Nurse) strongly desired
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in urgent situations
- Experience with student health plans and medication administration a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver routine and emergency nursing care to students
- Administer medications and treatments per physician instructions
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records
- Collaborate with school staff and families on health and wellness initiatives
- Support individualized health care plans for students with specific needs
