Assembly Technician - Now Hiring

Full time Monday - Thursday 6am - 4:30 pm.  Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k match, Life insurance.

Part time available.

Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling components of light fixtures efficiently while adhering to lean manufacturing principles. Key responsibilities include performing assembly tasks according to standardized procedures, continuously seeking process improvements, ensuring quality control, collaborating with team members, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Employ lean manufacturing concepts to support continuous improvement and waste elimination.
• Utilizes manufacturing knowledge to improve process operations and affect positive change.
• Perform assembly tasks following standardized work instructions and procedures while meeting production standard times to ensure continuous work flow.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines during assembly processes.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth assembly operations.
• Communicate openly and proactively to address any challenges or issues that may arise during the assembly process.
• Performs ERP transactions accurately to company policies and procedures.
• Provide hands on job function training to coworkers as needed.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 18 years or older

Preferred qualifications:

• Able to stand for duration of shift
• Able to comfortably lift 30 lbs
