Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2390 per week.

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Additional Details:

Special Requests: Resume must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level if applicable, patient ratio, and whether the facility was a teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job. If previously employed by Sanford Health, Good Samaritan Society, or Marshfield Clinic Health System, a full 6 months off is required before submission. Previous employment must be disclosed on the resume or elsewhere in the submission for a DNU check.

Unit Details: Adult medical-surgical patient population. Performs head-to-toe and focused assessments, medication administration, interdisciplinary communication, patient and family plan-of-care updates, patient advocacy, and documentation. Uses OmniCell, Philips Care Monitors, glucometers, bladder scanners, Language Line, and Zebra phones. Nurse-to-patient ratios: 0700-2300: 1:4-5; 2300-0700: 1:5-6.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and every other holiday. Travelers can self-schedule; only the days off listed in the contract are guaranteed, and self-scheduled shifts may be adjusted to balance unit needs. Specific day-off requests that would unbalance the schedule may require trading shifts.

Floating Requirements: May be required to float to other med-surg units at Sanford Medical Center Fargo and Broadway Sanford as needed.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
