Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Special Requests Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Previous Sanford Health employees must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission. Must take full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well.

Unit Details Adult medical/surgical patients, including some patients experiencing behavioral disturbances. Uses telemetry, Philips monitors, bladder scanner, AcuVein, and Omnicell. Nurse-to-patient ratio is 5:1 on days and 6:1 on nights.

Shift & Scheduling Every other weekend and holiday. Day/night rotation is based on unit needs; rotation timing is not fixed and may vary by schedule cycle. Travelers can self-schedule, but only contract-listed days off are guaranteed; self-scheduled shifts may be changed to balance unit needs.

Floating Requirements Float to all Med/Surg units across all 3 Fargo campuses as needed.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
