Machine Operator 1

Our client, manufacturing industry is seeking a Machine Operator 1 to join their team. As a Machine Operator 1, you will be part of the production department supporting assembly and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator 1

Location: Burgaw, NC

Pay Range: $19

Shift: 1st shift, Monday to Thursday 5:00am - 3:30pm (Friday OT as needed)

What's the Job?

• Operate a variety of simple machines to produce ventilation or specialty products
• Ensure work areas are set up safely and efficiently for optimal workflow
• Monitor quality of materials and finished parts, recommending corrections as needed
• Track daily production and equipment downtime using control sheets and reports
• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to maintain efficiency

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 3 months of manufacturing experience or related work
• Ability to stand, move, and lift frequently throughout the shift
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment
