Road Warrior Staffing is hiring a Non-CDL Medical Equipment Driver / Customer Service Technician in Menominee, MI for a full-time position providing medical equipment delivery and customer service to patients throughout the surrounding area.

This is a customer-focused field position that combines medical equipment delivery, setup, patient education, equipment maintenance, and customer service. The majority of the role is spent in the field delivering and servicing medical equipment at patients' homes, with additional responsibilities supporting patients and referral sources by phone and in the office.

The ideal candidate will have a background in customer service, delivery, or medical equipment, with experience from industries such as package delivery or home delivery services being highly transferable.

The service area covers Menominee and surrounding communities within approximately 60 miles, making reliable local driving and excellent customer service essential.

Schedule
Monday–Friday
8:00 AM–5:00 PM
On-call every other week
Local and regional travel throughout the Menominee service area
Pay
$18.31–$20.00 per hour
Pay based on related experience

Duties

Deliver, set up, and maintain medical equipment, oxygen, and supplies at patients' homes
Safely operate a company or personal vehicle while making scheduled deliveries
Educate patients and caregivers on the safe use and maintenance of medical equipment
Provide professional and courteous customer service to patients and referral sources
Provide customer service by phone and in person
Complete delivery forms, invoices, work orders, manifests, route sheets, logs, and patient care documentation
Prepare tickets and paperwork for daily delivery routes
Work with location personnel to coordinate deliveries
Perform recurring deliveries and equipment setups
Maintain assigned company vehicle in a clean and safe working condition
Observe additional patient needs and communicate them to the appropriate team members
Report equipment hazards and product incidents as required
Develop and maintain knowledge of current medical equipment, products, and services
Follow company policies and procedures regarding personal protective equipment and safety
Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
Assist with intake activities, including answering phones, receiving faxes, collecting patient and referral information, and processing paperwork
Assist with insurance verification and required documentation
Provide service to walk-in patients as needed
Maintain referral logs and other required records
Prepare documentation for Sales Representatives and Billing
Maintain office supplies and support general office operations
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Valid driver's license in the state of residence
Clean and acceptable driving record
Ability to safely operate a vehicle for the majority of the workday
Ability to meet applicable company and insurance requirements
Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation every other week
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling patient information

Ability to lift and carry patient medical equipment weighing up to 65 pounds
Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, and listen throughout the workday
Ability to drive a company or personal vehicle for the majority of the workday

Ability to read small print on paperwork, computers, and tablets
Ability to work around patients and medical equipment
May encounter potential exposure to contagious pathogens
