Friendly, high-profile family in West Newton is seeking a long-term, full-time nanny/family assistant for their 3-month-old son. The position will consist of care for the baby while also supporting the overall smooth operation of the household. Candidates should be comfortable signing an NDA.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old
• Non-smoker/vaper
• CPR / First Aid certified
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience 
• Vaccinated for Flu, Covid and TDap 
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle & clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Engaging the baby in developmentally appropriate play (outside play included) that will further support his growth and learning & motor skills
• Helping the baby establish a daytime sleep schedule (daily naps, etc…)
• Washing/sanitizing bottles
• Help with prepping solids 
• Baby laundry
• Taking out the diaper trash
• Going to classes/on age appropriate outings
• Tidying/organizing the playroom/nursery/common spaces
• General light tidying of the home (keeping things neat and presentable)

Family Assistant Tasks - as needed, on an occasional basis

• Loading/unloading dishwasher
• Errands and grocery shopping
• Taking out the trash

About the Family
The family is looking for a nanny that can grow with them long term!  Mom works from home in a separate space and may occasionally want to coordinate feeding times with the nanny so that she can breastfeed rather than pump. Both parents have very busy work and travel schedules, so flexibility with day to day scheduled hours will be needed. 

Ideal Candidate
The family is looking for someone who is flexible, proactive, punctual, kind, empathetic, and has strong communication skills.  Candidates should be open to collaboration and feedback and be comfortable using technology to support the family in their day to day (shared calendars, Instacart, amazon, nanit app, ChatGPT, etc.). The family would also love for their nanny to be comfortable traveling with them on occasion. They spend most of the summer in Martha’s Vineyard and would love the nanny to join them (housing will be provided and the nanny can go home on weekends if they like). Bi-lingual nannies are encouraged to apply!

Position Details

• Location: West Newton, MA
• Schedule: Monday-Friday (45hrs/wk guaranteed) 7:30/8:00am start, but need a lot of flexibility with end times (might need to come in early or start late on some days); occasional weekend hours will be required with notice.
• Start Date: 9/15/26; flexible for the right fit
• Hourly Rate: $36-45/hr BOE; taxes withheld (overtime paid at 1.5x)
