Deaf and Hard of Hearing Aide – School-Based | Up to $22/hr  Alhambra, CA 

Part-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM

What You’ll Do

• Use ASL or visual communication methods to support students in the classroom
• Help students stay engaged during lessons, activities, and transitions
• Reinforce instructions and classroom routines
• Assist with hearing aids, FM systems, or other assistive devices
• Support with personal care needs when needed
• Document support and assist with IEP-related notes
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff throughout the day

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree, 48+ college credits, or passing paraeducator exam
• Basic ASL skills or experience supporting Deaf or Hard of Hearing students
• At least 6 months of experience working with children or individuals with disabilities
• Strong communication skills, patience, and reliability
