VIVO Infusion - Clinical Research Coordinator

San Antonio, TX

The Clinical Research team in San Antonio, TX is looking for a highly-detail-oriented Clinical Research Coordinator with a minimum 1 year of clinical research experience to join our collaborative team! The Clinical Research Coordinator oversees and coordinates the daily activities of various clinical research studies and collaborates on all aspects of the clinical trial process.

The clinical research department is primarily focused on phase 2, 3, and 4 pharmaceutical-sponsored trials and registries of varying disease states including rare genetic conditions.

Compensation:

  • Pay Range: $31.00 - $35.00
  • Bonus Plan Target: 5% Annually (Based on performance)

Reports to: Director of Research

Location:

  • 3603 Paesanos PKWY, STE 200 San Antonio, TX 78231
Primary responsibilities:
  • Conduct site feasibility and review study protocols to ensure compatibility and compliance.
  • Recruit and screen patients for clinical trials, ensuring adherence to eligibility criteria.
  • Facilitate the informed consent process, ensuring participants fully understand the study.
  • Study procedure coordination, including treatment administration as applicable.
  • Maintain accountability for investigational product (IP) management, as applicable.
  • Collect and enter data into case report forms, addressing and working to resolve any queries.
  • Actively participate in investigator meetings. Participate and assist with site initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent, required.
  • Associate Degree or higher in the healthcare or medical field, preferred.
  • 1 year of working experience in clinical research, required.
  • Extremely detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills, required.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently or as part of a dynamic team.
  • Ability to manage a variety of protocols and tasks simultaneously with accuracy.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color differentiation, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk and talk, hear and smell. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. He/she is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl. Travel is minimal in this role.

The employee is required to use safety equipment as needed and required by law. This may include but is not limited to gowns, face shields, gloves, masks or other protective garments.
