A warm, entrepreneurial family is seeking a full-time, long-term career nanny to care for their 2 year old son. This live-out position will begin as soon as possible and is ideal for an experienced, professional caregiver who is engaging, flexible, and confident working in a parent-present environment.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old
• 5+ years of professional childcare experience (toddler/preschool experience preferred)
• CPR / First Aid certified
• Non-smoker
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable personal vehicle (parking available)
• Comfortable with dogs
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving, and developmentally appropriate care
• Engage in play, learning activities, and outdoor time
• Drive the child to classes and/or preschool (2 mornings per week)
• Support routines and foster independence appropriate for a toddler
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for the child, including:
  • Tidying play areas
  • Children’s laundry
  • Meal preparation for the child
• Take initiative with helpful tasks around the home when appropriate, especially when parents are present
• Collaborate with parents while respecting a hands-on parenting style

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is warm, patient, and engaging, with a strong background in toddler and preschool-aged care. They are professional, intuitive, and understand how to balance being actively involved with the child while also stepping back when appropriate.
This person is proactive, organized, and reliable, with strong communication skills and the ability to adapt in a dynamic household. A flexible mindset and a genuine love for working with young children are essential.

About the Family
This is a busy, hands-on household where parents are actively involved in their child’s daily life. The family values a nanny who can seamlessly integrate into their home, communicate clearly, and take initiative when needed. One parent may occasionally work from home, and the nanny will have autonomy while maintaining a collaborative approach.

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm (40 hrs guaranteed)
  • Flexibility for occasional weekend days needed

Compensation

• $35–$40/hour (based on experience; taxes withheld)
