Target Hourly: $21.00-23.00

Job Summary: Performs product and process inspections throughout the manufacturing facility to ensure products meet established quality standards and specifications. This role conducts in-process and final inspections, documents defects and nonconformances, and works with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.

Job Duties:

  • Inspect large, complex assemblies, sub-assemblies, and finished products for conformance to specifications
  • Perform in-process inspections and product audits throughout manufacturing and record defect data
  • Identify, document, and process nonconforming materials
  • Read and interpret drawings, prints, work instructions, and other technical documentation
  • Use measuring and test equipment to verify product dimensions and quality requirements
  • Maintain inspection records, quality documentation, and document change controls
  • Support root cause analysis and problem-solving related to manufacturing quality issues
  • Perform weld inspections and support weld monitoring and sampling activities
  • Assist with PPAP/FAI documentation, calibration activities, and development of work instructions and procedures
  • Support customer, third party, and special project inspections as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous quality inspection experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as welding, machining, assembly, and receiving inspection
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions
  • Experience using inspection and measurement equipment such as calipers and tape measures
  • Experience with APQP, PPAP, and/or FAI processes
  • Familiarity with gauge calibration and MSA
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation, and problem-solving skills
