Job Description:

Immediate Opportunities: Full-Time Class A CDL Truck Drivers
Earn $25.50 to $26 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours
$5000 sign-on bonus
Home daily
After one year, pay increases to $27 per hour
$1.05 shift differential (2 AM to 2 PM)
Additional safety incentives available up to $3000 annually
Driver referral bonus program up to $5000 per referral

You will drive:
Late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks
Best-in-class specs designed for comfort
Equipped with inward- and outward-facing in-cab cameras to help ensure safety for all

What you will do:
Shuttle trailers from plant to plant
Drop and hook/live loads of manufacturing components
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers

Schedule:
5-day workweek with 2 consecutive days off
AM and PM start times available
Customer is production-based and may require unplanned overtime
If Friday, Saturday, or Sunday production is scheduled, drivers are required to work their selected route or hourly shift, including full or partial production days

Qualifications:

Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence

Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required

1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years

3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents

In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency

Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.

The associate must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.

The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
