Summary Job title: Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate Job ID: null Department: Logan - RWE Location: null-null Description Summary: This is a full-time, on-site Customer Service – Fulfillment & Delivery role located in Logan, UT. The candidate will report directly to the Warehouse Manger. The position will require order picking, loading delivery vehicles, coordinating delivery routes, and delivering material to job sites safely, accurately, and efficiently. Candidate will be required to follow all company policies. Candidate will be expected to communicate all possible process improvements to the Warehouse Manager. Build and maintain professional relationships with co-workers and customers. Be the last line of defense against order errors. Effectively communicate with customers on location of delivery, estimated arrival, etc., to uphold quality customer service. Go above and beyond to take care of the needs of the customer including communication with sales people to ensure accuracy and problem resolution. This role is not just a delivery driver role, we expect the candidate to become a part of our team and buy-in to our company model. Reports to: Profit Center Manager Minimum Qualifications: + A valid drivers license with a clean driving record. + DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card upon hire. + Excellent driving record with no more than 1 moving violation in the past 3 years. + Ability to handle panel vans, pickup trucks, and a 20ft flatbed truck safely. + Pride in driving ability, work ethic, and ability to solve problems. + Zero-tolerance for lack of safety. Must always wear a seatbelt and be able to use or learn to use safety features like the parking brake, fire extinguisher, etc. + Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Support abilities. + Experience focused on Customer Satisfaction and maintaining a positive Customer Experience. + Professional Phone Etiquette and clear, courteous communication skills. + Attention to detail and organizational skills for handling orders, documentation, and delivery coordination. + Ability to work on-site in Logan, UT and collaborate effectively with warehouse and delivery teams. + Basic computer proficiency, including using order management or CRM systems. + Reliable time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. + Preferred Qualifications: + Experience preparing orders and/or delivering product with high level of customer service. + Previous experience in distribution, retail, or electrical supply is beneficial but not required. Working Conditions: Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures. Deliveries in all weather conditions including during extreme hot/cold, rain and other seasonal conditions. Often required to sit, stand, stoop, and move at a fast pace to complete job duties. Often required to lift, move, and shift up to 50lbs regulary. Supervisory Responsibilities: No Essential Job Functions: + Learn and build upon a working knowledge of all warehouse inventory and bin locations. + Use a sales order document to effectively pick correct product and quantities from bin locations. + Prepare orders for delivery by packaging product, appropriately labeling product with order information, and completing ship confirmations. + Strategically and carefully load delivery vehicle accurately for assigned delivery route in order of delivery. + Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections using company app. + Use driver camera equipment and follow safety standards and alerts + Complete driving and safety trainings. + Deliver product to the job site or delivery location with highest level of vehicle safety and driving skill. + Effectively communicate with the customer, project manager, contractor, etc., on site to determine where to place product upon delivery. + Place product according to detailed instructions for highest customer satisfaction. + Provide Proof of Delivery using company app for each delivery. + Be the last line of defense against order mistakes and problems. Proactively communicate issues with sales team. + Be humble and willing to accept and correct mistakes. + Complete routine safety and service checks on delivery vehicles. + Clean and organize delivery vehicles and help with other warehouse activities as needed. + Assist with warehouse daily and weekly checklist to ensure completion at intervals. This will include putting stock away in correct bin locations, restocking shelves, facing shelves, sweeping, taking out the trash, organizing tools and workspaces, reloading wire rack with forklift, etc. + Legally operate a motor vehicle and maintain a driving record that meets company standards + Load all order fulfillment materials onto the truck for delivery and unload at delivery + Communicate any vehicle mechanical problems to direct supervisor + Perform daily inspection and maintenance on company vehicle + Deliver/pick up merchandise to/from customers and suppliers promptly, efficiently, and in a professional manner + Pick up material from vendors + Receive incoming freight + Keep a clean and organized warehouse + Stock material on shelves + Pick orders + Processing returns from customers and to vendors + Operate a Microsoft-based computer system CED is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability | Veteran Compensation Range: The compensation range for this position is $18 to $20 hourly.
