Loader and Unloader - Tire Distribution Warehouse

A Tire Distribution company on the Northeast side of San Antonio, is seeking a responsible, safety-conscious individual with an outstanding work ethic and ready to work. As a Warehouse Associate, your responsibilities will include loading/unloading tires, working both inside and outside of a trailer, and ensuring product is accurately pulled according to the order slip.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Loading and Unloading tires
• Order Selecting
• Stacking and Palletizing Tires
• Stand up forklift experience a plus, but not required.
• Adhere to all safety rules and standards- this includes wearing a harness at all times when using machinery and following proper lifting techniques.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to pass background check.
• Must be able to pass drug test.
• Must be able to work in outside weather conditions (open dock work area).
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 70lbs at a time without assistance.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.

SCHEDULE:

• Monday-Friday
• 7am- 4pm
• Overtime MANDATORY when needed - be prepared to work 10-12 hour shifts. Some Saturdays may be required.

PAY RATE:

• $16hr
• Significant pay increase after successful conversion to FTE with the client company.
• Plenty of OT opportunities available.

LOCATION:

• 78219 - off NE Interstate Loop 410
• Northeast San Antonio/Kirby area.

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 18 years or older

Preferred qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in the warehouse & production industry
• Warehouse skills: loading and unloading trucks
• Warehouse skills: handheld scanner operation
• Able to work in an environment with high temperatures
• Able to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures
• Able to work in an environment with heights over 20 feet
• Able to stand for duration of shift
• Able to comfortably lift 70 lbs
• Available to work: early morning
• Available to work: weekdays
