Job Description
MyCHN CAREERS
Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Sonographer
Westwood Facility • Houston, Texas
Help us elevate the standard of maternal-fetal imaging.
At MyCHN, we believe exceptional maternal and fetal care begins with exceptional people. We are seeking an experienced MFM Sonographer who brings advanced ultrasound expertise plus curiosity, precision, and a genuine commitment to continuous improvement — someone who wants to do more than perform studies, and help build a consistently high-performing ultrasound program.
- Perform advanced MFM and high-risk obstetric ultrasound exams — fetal anatomical surveys, growth assessments, biophysical profiles, cervical length, multiple-gestation studies, and Doppler measurements — in collaboration with our MFM providers.
- Deliver high-quality, reproducible diagnostic images; recognize normal vs. abnormal findings and escalate time-sensitive results promptly.
- Maintain accurate EHR documentation and uphold infection-prevention, safety, and quality-assurance standards.
- Help standardize MFM ultrasound protocols at our Westwood facility, and mentor and cross-train fellow sonographers.
- Partner closely with physicians, APPs, nursing, and scheduling teams to strengthen the patient experience and continuity of care.
Technical skill matters — but so does how you work. We’re looking for someone with clinical excellence and sound judgment, a continuous-learning mindset, coachability, and a genuine drive to improve quality and share knowledge with the team. You communicate with calm, patient-centered compassion, adapt well under changing priorities, and take ownership of your work.
- Graduate of an accredited sonography/ultrasound program
- Current ARDMS certification in OB/GYN (or obtainable within org timeframe)
- Current BLS certification (or obtainable)
- Experience performing obstetric ultrasound
- Prior MFM, perinatology, or high-risk OB ultrasound experience preferred
- NT certification preferred, where applicable
- Proficiency in fetal anatomy and obstetric measurements
- Strong computer, documentation, and communication skills
We are growing, evolving, and continuously looking for ways to improve the care we provide. We want professionals who bring ideas, share expertise, and want to leave a program stronger than they found it.
Join MyCHN and help us advance exceptional care for mothers, babies, and families.
