Middle River Health and Rehab is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dietary Manager to join our team in South Range, WI. As a Dietary Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dietary department, ensuring that our residents receive high-quality, nutritious meals that meet their individual needs.

About the Role:

As a Dietary Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the dietary services provided to our residents. This includes:

• Assisting the facility's dietitian in developing and implementing recommended changes to menus and meal plans

• Supervising the preparation and serving of meals, including therapeutic diets and modified consistency meals

• Maintaining accurate records and reports, including food intake and nutritional screening data

• Supervising and training dietary staff, including conducting performance evaluations and coaching for improvement

• Developing and implementing sanitation and quality control procedures to ensure a safe and clean food service environment

Requirements:

• Minimum of 18 years of age with good moral character

• ServSafe certification desired

• Prior work experience in a healthcare environment, sufficient enough to meet position requirements

• Knowledge of state and federal regulations

• Ability to organize, plan, and work autonomously

• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office

• Experience with healthcare menu planning software

• Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with patients, families, and other facility staff on a daily basis

• Maintains a positive attitude and a special interest working with long-term care patients
