Framer - Floors

Description:

Position Objective: The Framer – Floors is responsible for constructing and installing floor framing systems commercial modular structures. This role ensures that floor frameworks are level, structurally sound, and built according to blueprints, building codes, and project specifications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and assemble floor joists, beams, and subfloor structures 
• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and construction plans 
• Install subflooring materials and ensure proper alignment and leveling 
• Use hand and power tools to fasten and secure framing components 
• Inspect framing work to ensure structural integrity and code compliance 
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on the job site 
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED 
• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience
• Previous experience in construction environment

Job Requirements:

• This position requires heavy physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing for extended periods. The role involves lifting and carrying heavy materials, working at heights or on uneven surfaces, and operating hand and power tools. Exposure to outdoor conditions, noise, and dust is common, and strong stamina, balance, and coordination are essential.
