Job Duties:
The Equipment Operator plays a vital role in supporting our tree crews by performing various tasks, including but not limited to:
The Equipment Operator plays a vital role in supporting our tree crews by performing various tasks, including but not limited to:
- Driving a support truck and pulling a dumpbed trailer loaded with a mini skid loader between job sites.
- Operating mini skid loaders and articulating loaders to load and haul logs and debris.
- Picking up logs and assisting crews with site cleanup.
- Operating equipment as needed across different jobs, adapting to varying site conditions.
- Maintaining equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- This role requires physical stamina, including bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting.
Working Conditions: This position entails working in environments that may be loud, dirty, and subject to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, wet, or dry conditions.
Job Details & Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License required; Class B CDL preferred but not required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older, per insurance requirements.
- Consistency and punctuality are essential; candidates must demonstrate a reliable attendance record.
- All candidates will undergo a background check as part of the hiring process.
- Opportunities for overtime pay at time and a half may be available on a weekly basis.
- Strong work ethic and ability to collaborate effectively with team members are highly valued.
- No parole or probation reporting.
