Assignment Details

Location: Galesburg, Illinois

Provider Type: Physician (MD/DO)

Specialty: Interventional Pain Management

Practice Setting: Outpatient Pain Management Clinic

Coverage Type: Scheduled + On Call

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Coverage Need: Approximately 12 Shifts Per Month

EMR: Epic


Compensation: Night Call - $545/shift, Hourly - $350/hr, Night Call Back - $350/hr.


Schedule

Monday-Tuesday: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM Onsite

Wednesday: May Include a Half-Day Clinic Followed by Call Coverage or Call Coverage Only

Final Wednesday Schedule To Be Determined

When On Call, Provider Does Not Need to Remain Onsite but Must Be Locally Available to Return to the Facility if Needed

30-Minute Response Required for Call


Clinical Responsibilities

Provide Outpatient Interventional Pain Management Services

Evaluate Patients and Develop Appropriate Interventional Treatment Plans

Perform Fluoroscopy-Guided and Other Image-Guided Pain Procedures

Provide Post-Procedure Patient Follow-Up

Address Clinical Questions and Concerns

Provide Consultations

Assist With Overflow Procedures and Cases as Needed

Call Responsibilities May Include Patient Follow-Up, Phone Calls, Consultations, Overflow Procedures, and Follow-Up on Patients Seen Earlier in the Week

No General Anesthesia Responsibilities

No Chronic Pain Medication Management or Prescribing

Lumbar Epidural Steroid Injections

Cervical Epidural Steroid Injections

Trigger Point Injections

Radiofrequency Ablations

Facet Joint Injections

Medial Branch Blocks

Hip and Other Joint Injections

Fluoroscopy-Guided Pain Procedures

Other Interventional Pain Procedures Within the Physician's Scope of Practice


Clinical Environment / Support

Procedure-Focused Outpatient Practice

CRNA Services Available Onsite

Provider Will Not Work Solo

No General Anesthesia Cases

No Chronic Opioid or Medication Management


Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology and/or Pain Medicine - Required

Anesthesiology Residency Training - Required

Fellowship Training in Pain Medicine - Required

Minimum of 1 Year of Experience - Required

Experience Performing Interventional Pain Procedures - Required

Active Illinois Medical License - Required at Time of Application

IMLC Not Accepted

DEA Registration - Required

Illinois CSR License - Required

ACLS - Required

BLS - Required

Epic Experience - Required

Must Be Comfortable Practicing Exclusively in an Outpatient Interventional Pain Setting Without Chronic Medication Management


Credentialing

Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 Days
