Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the dietary department, including meal planning, food preparation, and service

• Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our patients, including special diets and cultural preferences

• Manage the inventory and procurement of food, supplies, and equipment

• Supervise and train dietary staff, including cooks, servers, and dishwashers

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA

• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop patient care plans that incorporate nutrition and hydration goals

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience as a Dietary Manager or in a related role

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field

• Knowledge of dietary principles, food safety, and sanitation practices

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities

• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team
