About the Role

Cornell Care & Rehabilitation Center managed by Autumn Lake Healthcare at Overlea is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team. As a Director of Nursing, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our residents while maintaining a high level of quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring that all care is provided in accordance with state and federal regulations

• Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures that ensure the highest level of care for our residents

• Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement individualized care plans

• Recruit, train, and supervise a team of dedicated nurses and caregivers

• Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and external partners

• Monitor and report on quality metrics, including infection control, falls prevention, and medication management

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) preferred

• Valid Registered Nurse License
