OPERATING ROOM MANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Seeking an experienced Operating Room Manager to lead surgical services operations, staff, and daily workflow.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise, hire, train, and support nurses, surgical techs, and other personnel.
- Coordinate daily surgical room assignments and optimize workflow.
- Manage departmental budgets, purchasing, supplies, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain infection control and sterile processing standards.
- Promote efficient, high-quality surgical operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 years of Operating Room Manager experience – Required.
- Current BLS certification through AHA.
- Active Michigan license required at time of submission.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and operational management skills.
