Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the dietary department, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
• Plan, prepare, and serve meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents
• Supervise and train dietary staff to ensure efficient and effective food service delivery
• Develop and manage the department's budget, including ordering supplies and managing costs
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including food safety and quality control
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of food and supplies
• Participate in food safety and quality control programs
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus and recipes that meet the dietary needs of our residents

Requirements:

• Dietary Manager certification or equivalent experience required
• 2+ years of experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, with or without the use of assistive devices
