Memory Care Manager
Job Summary
Grand Villa Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate and experienced Memory Care Manager to join our team in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. As a Memory Care Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dedicated memory care units, ensuring the highest level of care and services for our residents with Alzheimer's disease and other memory impairments. Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of our memory care units, including developing and implementing care plans, conducting assessments, and providing guidance to caregivers
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and services for residents, including medication management, behavioral support, and caregiver education
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including survey readiness and accreditation standards
Provide training and support to caregivers, including on-the-job training, feedback, and coaching
Develop and maintain relationships with family members and guardians, ensuring communication and transparency regarding resident care and services
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including data collection, analysis, and reporting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and documentation
Requirements
Minimum 0 years of experience in memory care management or a related field
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in healthcare-related field preferred
Strong leadership and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with residents, family members, and colleagues
Knowledge of memory care best practices and regulations, with ability to stay current with industry developments and changes
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances
