  • Shift: Days – 4 × 9-hour shifts with call
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
  • Orientation: 12 hours
  • Care Setting: Acute
  • EMR: EPIC

Pay Breakdown

  W2 (taxable): $61.00/hr
  Per Diem (Non-Taxable): $ 1,266.00
  Gross Weekly Pay: $3,462.00/week

 

      

Requirements

  • Experience Required:
    • Minimum 2 years of experience
    • Interventional Radiology experience
    • Scrub experience
    • Ability to pass supplies and assist with procedures
    • Set up and take down of procedure rooms
    • No floating; assignment remains within IR or Cath Lab
  • Certification Required:
    • ARRT
    • BLS
  • License Required:
    • Active Illinois license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated

Department Details

  • Department: IR – Special Procedures Tech
  • Labs/Suites: 6 labs, including pre-op and Phase 2 recovery
  • Average Cases: 20–30 per day
  • Common Cases/Patients: Vascular, neuro, drains, and lines
  • Equipment: Philips monitors
  • Call: Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call required
  • Call Frequency: 7–9 shifts per 6 weeks
  • Call Response Time: 30 minutes
  • Orientation: 3–5 days in the lab
  • Scrubs: Provided

Policy & Submission Details

  • Local Rate: Applies within 50 miles; reduced by $25 from regular and OT bill rates
  • Cancellation: 12 hours per 13 weeks
  • OSF Call-Off Policy: Equivalent to 12 hours per 13 weeks with no penalty
  • BSN: Not required
  • Trauma Level: Not specified
