Pay Breakdown
W2 (taxable): $61.00/hr
Per Diem (Non-Taxable): $ 1,266.00
Gross Weekly Pay: $3,462.00/week
Requirements
- Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Interventional Radiology experience
- Scrub experience
- Ability to pass supplies and assist with procedures
- Set up and take down of procedure rooms
- No floating; assignment remains within IR or Cath Lab
- Certification Required:
- ARRT
- BLS
- License Required:
- Active Illinois license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
Department Details
- Department: IR – Special Procedures Tech
- Labs/Suites: 6 labs, including pre-op and Phase 2 recovery
- Average Cases: 20–30 per day
- Common Cases/Patients: Vascular, neuro, drains, and lines
- Equipment: Philips monitors
- Call: Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call required
- Call Frequency: 7–9 shifts per 6 weeks
- Call Response Time: 30 minutes
- Orientation: 3–5 days in the lab
- Scrubs: Provided
Policy & Submission Details
- Local Rate: Applies within 50 miles; reduced by $25 from regular and OT bill rates
- Cancellation: 12 hours per 13 weeks
- OSF Call-Off Policy: Equivalent to 12 hours per 13 weeks with no penalty
- BSN: Not required
