POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Precision Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our production team. This role is responsible for assembling high-precision mechanical and electrical components used in CNC milling and turning machines. The ideal candidate has a strong background in electromechanical assembly, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work with tight tolerances and complex schematics in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Key responsibilities

• Electrical Assembly:
• • Install and route wiring harnesses, control panels, terminal blocks, and electrical enclosures.
  • Connect and terminate wiring for motors, sensors, encoders, and control systems following wiring schematics and diagrams.
  • Perform continuity testing and insulation resistance checks to verify proper electrical connections.
  • Assemble and mount CNC control units (such as Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi) into machine cabinets and enclosures.
• Documentation and Quality Control:
• • Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Follow detailed work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality checklists.
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet company and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Collaboration and Safety:
• • Work closely with engineering, quality control, and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures related to mechanical and electrical assembly.

required Qualifications & skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certificate or associate degree in electronics, mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in precision mechanical or electrical assembly (CNC or industrial equipment preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with multimeters, torque tools, calipers, and micrometers.
• Basic understanding of CNC machine operation and components is a plus.
• Proficiency with standard hand tools and electrical crimping, soldering, and stripping techniques.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
