Job Summary
We are seeking an organized and dependable Warehouse Coordinator to support the efficient daily operation of a warehouse facility. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing warehouse activities, and helping ensure products are processed and shipped accurately and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Conduct routine inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
- Coordinate shipments and maintain order and shipping documentation.
- Ensure products are properly stored, labeled, and organized.
- Arrange the warehouse layout to maximize space and workflow.
- Inspect products for damage or quality concerns and report issues.
- Generate inventory, order, and shipment reports for management.
- Communicate with production, procurement, customer service, and shipping departments.
- Monitor warehouse equipment and report maintenance needs.
- Help enforce workplace safety procedures and regulations.
- Resolve operational issues involving delays, shortages, or inventory discrepancies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse, inventory control, or logistics experience.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable using warehouse, inventory, or production management systems.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety and quality-control procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Forklift and pallet jack experience is preferred.
