Production Associate - 1st Shift (Entry Level, Direct Hire)

A leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Syracuse, NY is hiring Production Associates for 1st shift. This is a direct hire, entry level role.

Schedule
1st shift, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 4 days per week. Schedule may run Monday through Thursday, Tuesday through Friday, or Monday through Friday when mandatory overtime is in effect.

Pay
$18.75 to $21.00 per hour, based on experience.

What You Will Do

• Operate high speed filling, packaging, and labeling equipment
• Perform tasks in Class 10,000 and non-classified clean room areas
• Wear PPE appropriate to each work area
• Follow strict SOP and GMP procedures
• Complete cleaning, inspection, and required paperwork for your work area
• Assist with preventative maintenance as directed

What You Need

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to work the 1st shift schedule above, including mandatory overtime
• No known allergy or sensitivity to penicillin or related compounds
• Willing and able to wear varying levels of PPE, including clean room environments
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

Preferred

• Experience operating high speed filling, packaging, or labeling equipment
• Experience in a pharmaceutical, food, or other regulated manufacturing environment
• Clean room or controlled environment experience
• Basic mechanical aptitude
