Molding Operator

Job Description

Operate injection molding equipment while inspecting and packaging small molded parts. This is a repetitive position that requires consistent attention to quality and the ability to follow established procedures throughout the shift. Previous molding experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor injection molding presses
• Visually inspect small molded parts for quality and defects
• Follow quality inspection requirements and established procedures
• Package finished parts according to packing instructions
• Complete production and labor paperwork
• Record production, scrap, downtime, equipment issues, and other problems
• Maintain a consistent pace while performing repetitive inspection and packaging tasks
• Follow safety and workplace procedures

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or molding experience is helpful but not required
• Ability to perform repetitive work throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail when inspecting small parts
• Able to identify quality issues and defects
• Comfortable following established procedures
• Dependable and consistent
• Able to complete basic production paperwork
• Able to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
