DDD Training Instructor - Article 9, CPR/BLS & Prevention and Support

Sakin LLC is seeking an experienced and qualified DDD Training Instructor to provide professional training to our caregivers and direct support staff serving individuals with developmental disabilities.

We are looking for instructors who are qualified to teach one or more of the following:

• Article 9
• CPR / BLS
• Prevention and Support (PRoUD)

Applicants may qualify in one, two, or all three training areas. Candidates must possess the appropriate current instructor credentials for each course they are hired to teach.

Position Responsibilities

• Conduct professional training sessions for Sakin LLC caregivers and direct support staff.
• Teach Article 9 training in accordance with applicable Arizona DDD requirements.
• Teach Prevention and Support/PRoUD training in accordance with applicable DDD requirements.
• Provide CPR/BLS training using a current, recognized instructor certification.
• Maintain current instructor certifications and provide verification of qualifications.
• Maintain accurate attendance and training completion records.
• Provide certificates, completion records, or other required documentation.
• Follow current Arizona DDD and certifying-organization requirements.
• Create a professional and engaging learning environment.
• Answer employee questions and ensure understanding of the training material.
• Communicate with Sakin management regarding training schedules and employee completion.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must have current and verifiable instructor credentials appropriate for the training they will teach.

Article 9 Instructor

Candidates must:

• Hold the appropriate Arizona DDD Article 9 instructor qualification/authorization.
• Have completed applicable instructor training requirements.
• Maintain current instructor credentials.
• Have previous experience actually teaching Article 9.
• Be able to provide documentation verifying their qualifications.

Prevention and Support / PRoUD Instructor

Candidates must:

• Hold the appropriate Arizona DDD Prevention and Support/PRoUD instructor qualification or authorization.
• Have completed applicable instructor requirements.
• Maintain current instructor credentials.
• Have previous experience actually teaching Prevention and Support/PRoUD.
• Be able to provide documentation verifying their qualifications.

CPR / BLS Instructor

Candidates must:

• Hold a current CPR/BLS instructor certification from a recognized certifying organization.
• Maintain current instructor status.
• Have previous experience teaching CPR/BLS courses.
• Be authorized to provide applicable course completion documentation/cards.
• Provide proof of current instructor certification.

Experience Required

Previous teaching experience is required.

We are seeking instructors who have already taught these courses, not individuals who have only completed the courses as students.

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience training caregivers, DSPs, or healthcare personnel.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Experience working with Arizona DDD providers.
• Experience conducting group training.
• Experience maintaining employee training records.

Compensation

$33.00 per instructional hour, per course

Compensation is based on the actual instructional hours for each course taught.

Examples:

• Article 9 — 8-hour class × $33/hour = $264
• CPR/BLS — 5-hour class × $33/hour = $165
• Prevention & Support/PRoUD — $33 per instructional hour

Each separate course is compensated independently based on the actual instructional hours taught.

Training dates and hours may vary depending on Sakin LLC's staffing and training needs.

Schedule

Flexible / As Needed

Training will be scheduled based on:

• New-hire training needs
• Certification requirements
• Renewal/recertification needs
• Number of employees requiring training
• Instructor availability

Important Requirement

Applicants must provide verification of their current instructor qualifications/certifications for the training programs they are applying to teach.

Sakin LLC will verify that instructor qualifications align with applicable Arizona DDD requirements and/or the requirements of the applicable certifying organization before the instructor independently conducts training.
