Short Order Cook

Bistro 72 is looking for a reliable, fast-paced Short Order Cook to join our kitchen team at Coral Canyon Golf Course. If you thrive in a high-energy environment, enjoy preparing classic golf course fare (burgers, sandwiches, breakfast items, and quick-turn specials), and value better hours than typical restaurant nightlife, this is the spot for you. Both Part Time and Full Time positions are available.

Key Responsibilities

• Line Execution: Prepare and cook menu items (breakfast sandwiches, burgers, fries, wraps, and daily specials) to order quickly and consistently.
• Prep & Station Setup: Stock and maintain prep stations, line coolers, and short-order equipment before and during peak meal shifts.
• Quality & Speed: Ensure food safety, proper presentation, and quick turnarounds for golfers on the turn and seated diners.
• Cleanliness & Sanitation: Maintain a clean work station, adhere to food safety guidelines, and execute daily opening/closing kitchen checklists.
• Teamwork: Work closely with front-of-house staff and beverage service to ensure seamless guest orders.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a short order, line, or prep cook preferred.
• Valid Food Handler's Permit (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Strong time management skills and ability to multitask during rush periods.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Reliable transportation and flexible availability (mornings, weekends, and holidays).
