Job Description
Job Title: Chemist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented chemical technician to support the development and maintenance of high-quality chemical products. This role involves performing laboratory testing, maintaining process chemistry, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct titrations and chemical analyses on process baths and substances
- Prepare, test, and adjust chemical solutions to maintain target specifications
- Analyze organic and inorganic compounds and document results
- Maintain lab and chemical inventory, including equipment calibration and upkeep
- Assist with wastewater systems and batch tank operations
- Support production processes, including plating line operations
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards (AS9100)
- Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications:
- Entry level knowledge of laboratory safety standards and procedures
- Strong analytical, math, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with lab equipment and testing techniques (preferred)
- Familiarity with spectrometry and chromatography is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
